Job Title: Contracts Manager

Join a dynamic team at Raytheon as a Contracts Manager, where you will play a critical role in supporting a diverse portfolio of contracts in the High Consequence Missions (HCM) Strategic Business Unit.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Contracts Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Contracts Administration team, you will be responsible for managing and administering contracts, ensuring compliance with internal policies and procedures, as well as public law requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in proposal preparation, contract negotiation, contract administration, and customer contact activities to enable proper contract acquisition.
  • Provide support to senior management regarding contractual and business issues.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts/contract modifications to ensure compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as public law requirements.
  • Summarize contract issues, research compliance matters, interpret regulations, identify risks, and formulate recommendations.
  • Act as the primary interface with customers during proposal phase, negotiations, and contract performance.
  • Negotiate sound business deals with customers and provide governance to the program team carrying out the terms and scope of the contract.
  • Work well as a member of the cross-business team (CBT) and foster teamwork with both external and internal customers.
  • Handle several assignments concurrently while maintaining schedule deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the field of Contract Management, Negotiations, or related fields.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen.
  • Must hold an active Top Secret clearance; active TS/SCI preferred.
  • Must be willing to work onsite in order to perform job duties.
  • Knowledge of, and experience with, various types of contracts (e.g. Cost Reimbursement, FFP, T&M, IDIQ, etc.), NDA's, SOWs, Teaming Agreements, and other commercial agreements.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize actions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop relationships with customers and internal partners based on understanding and trust.
  • Proven record of responsiveness with strong time management and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated understanding of cost structures, material estimates, development costs, performance requirements, delivery schedules, and terms and conditions for accuracy and completeness.
  • Understanding of competitive procurements and ability to support the development and preparation of high-quality, complex proposals.
  • Strong knowledge of FAR/DFAR regulations and ability to apply them appropriately, with an understanding of standard Prime Contractor flow-down provisions.
Education:
  • Must have 8+ years of applicable work experience with a BA/BS degree, or 16+ years of applicable work experience at the minimum in lieu of a BS degree can be substituted.

Benefits:
  • Competitive salary range: $105,000 - $221,000.
