Job Title: Global Finance Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic Global Finance Director to join our team at Evidence Action. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our global finance operations, including financial planning, budgeting, and reporting.

About the Role

The Global Finance Director will provide leadership and guidance to our global finance team, ensuring that our financial operations are efficient, effective, and compliant with all relevant laws and regulations. You will work closely with our Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to develop and implement financial strategies that support our organization's mission and goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets that align with our organization's strategic objectives
  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, including financial reporting and tax requirements
  • Lead the global finance team in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with our regional finance teams to ensure consistency and alignment in financial operations
Requirements
  • 10-15 years of experience in finance, with a minimum of 5 years in a leadership role
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing financial plans and budgets that drive business growth and success
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Advanced degree in finance or a related field, such as accounting or business administration
