Description

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a Registered Nurse to join the 5 West team at Children's Hospital Los Angeles. Our high acuity medical/surgical unit cares for patients with respiratory diseases and infectious diseases, with a focus on chronic ventilator dependent patients and diabetics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized plans of care
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to prioritize patient care and address emerging needs
  • Maintain knowledge of patient care principles, equipment, and hospital policies
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with patients, families, and healthcare teams

Requirements:

  • 1+ year experience as an RN; pediatric experience preferred
  • BSN or ADN required; current licensure as a Registered Nurse in California
  • Current American Heart Association CPR certification and PALS card

Compensation:

The estimated salary for this position is $123,115.00 per year, based on industry standards and comparable roles in the Los Angeles area.
