About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Team Member to join our team at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. As a Housekeeping Team Member, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of our facilities, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our residents and staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dusting and damp mopping floors, cleaning and sanitizing bathrooms, and removing and disposing of trash.
  • Utilize protective gear in all appropriate functions and follow safety precautions when mixing and using cleaning solutions.
  • Ensure the established standards, safety, and quality guidelines are met, and follow infection control and universal precautions policies and procedures.
  • Respond to the paging system in a timely and appropriate manner and complete assigned cleaning areas according to schedule.
  • Positively represent Healthcare Services Group, Inc. by following instructions, being courteous, and cooperative with supervisor, co-workers, and client staff.
Requirements
  • Demonstrate a positive attitude and ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Perform routine, repetitive tasks daily and utilize leadership skills to accomplish all responsibilities without supervision.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Must be able to be at work as scheduled and on time, and comply with COVID-19 Vaccination Policies.
  • Must be able to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds, push/pull a maximum of 50 pounds, stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods.
