Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and professional Patient Representative to join our team at SouthCoast Health.

This role is a critical part of our Cardiology Department, serving as the first and last point of contact for patients and their families. As a Patient Representative, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impression and provide exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a warm and welcoming experience for patients and their families.
  • Assist with directions, information, and other support as needed.
  • Monitor physician schedules to ensure timely communication with patients.
  • Maintain confidentiality of patient information.
  • Collect co-pays and process payments.
  • Respond to emergency situations and alert appropriate personnel.
  • Perform non-clinical duties as assigned by Supervisor.
  • Comply with OSHA regulations.
  • Assist with training new employees and coordinate workflow.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum one year experience in customer service, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  • Computer experience and knowledge of customer service concepts.
