We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Tarragon Property Services. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our residential properties.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of maintenance staff in performing daily tasks, including preventative maintenance and apartment turnovers.
- Monitor and diagnose issues related to HVAC, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and other trades.
- Inspect apartments before and after move-ins and move-outs, and conduct regular property inspections to ensure high standards are maintained.
- Manage vendor relationships and obtain bids for maintenance services and supplies.
- Prepare and submit property invoices accurately and in accordance with guidelines.
- Participate in company-sponsored training programs to ensure team members are up-to-date with the latest skills and knowledge.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of experience in property management maintenance, other building maintenance, or a related trade.
- 2+ years in a supervisory capacity within the residential maintenance field.
- Ability to read and write English.
- Ability to use a PC and Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to read and understand budgets.
- Ability to effectively manage a team, including delegating tasks, conducting interviews, and training.
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance.
