We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Tarragon Property Services. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our properties, leading a team of maintenance staff, and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of maintenance staff in performing routine maintenance tasks, repairs, and renovations
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and budgets to ensure efficient use of resources
- Conduct regular property inspections to identify and address any maintenance issues
- Collaborate with the business manager to interview, hire, and train new maintenance staff
- Ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 5+ years of experience in property management maintenance or a related trade
- 2+ years of supervisory experience in the residential maintenance field
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to use a PC and Microsoft Word and Excel
- Ability to read and understand budgets
- Ability to effectively manage a team, including delegating tasks, conducting interviews, and training
- Current driver's license and automobile insurance
