Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services Department at UofL Hospital.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.

The Surgical Services Department is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and includes two areas: Main Hospital and Outpatient Surgery Center.

We offer a range of service lines, including Robotics, General, Colorectal, Urology, Cancer, Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, ENT, Plastics, and Oral Maxillofacial.

Responsibilities

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with the healthcare team, and contributing to the development of patient care plans.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Required qualifications include a license to practice as a Registered Nurse in Kentucky, Basic Life Support (BLS) accreditation by the American Heart Association, and an Associate's degree from an accredited college or university.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.
