Position Title: Game Day Communications Staff

Employment Type: PRN, As Needed, Non-Benefited

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Athletic Department at Westminster University is in search of part-time hourly staff for game day operations. Available roles include Statistician, Web Stream Play-by-Play Announcer, and Web Stream Color Analyst. These positions are seasonal and will be scheduled based on the needs of the events.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Comprehension of the rules governing volleyball, basketball, soccer, and/or lacrosse.
  • Willingness to work during all home games throughout the athletic season, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to multi-task, maintain composure under pressure, and stay calm in various situations.
  • Capability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Adherence to institutional, conference, and national governing body regulations.
  • Fulfillment of additional responsibilities as assigned.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience relevant to the position being applied for.
  • Familiarity with NCAA regulations and a general understanding of athletic events.
  • Self-motivated individual with a professional demeanor on game days.
  • Openness to receiving feedback and direction.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Commitment to maintaining high professional standards.
  • Availability for an irregular work schedule, including days, nights, and weekends.
