Aircraft Maintenance Technician Opportunity in Oregon

We are currently seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team in Aurora, Oregon. This is a 6-month contract position with an estimated salary of $65,000-$85,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing maintenance actions on heavy-lift helicopters, primarily Boeing CH-47 airframes. This will involve disassembling, repairing, and fabricating parts as necessary, as well as reassembling and installing maintenance actions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Disassemble, repair, and fabricate parts as necessary
  • Reassemble and install maintenance actions on heavy-lift helicopters
  • Document all maintenance activities
  • Read and interpret maintenance manuals and blueprints
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and machine tools
  • Remove and install standard and blind rivets
  • Drill/ream/rivet to close tolerance

Requirements

  • 4+ years of aircraft structures experience
  • Strong knowledge of heavy lift helicopter maintenance
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
