Procurement Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to join our team at Brightspeed. As a Procurement Manager, you will play a critical role in driving end-to-end category strategy, performance effectiveness, efficiency, value, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the development and implementation of procurement initiatives, strategic pricing negotiations, RFx activity, and contract negotiations.
- Collaborate with business units to develop strategies and implement them to optimize selection for lowest total overall cost, predict availability, and promote industry leadership in quality.
- Establish and develop strategic sourcing strategies and supplier relationships.
- Lead contract negotiations with experience drafting and redlining MSA's, SOWs, Amendments, Schedules, etc.
- Lead alignment efforts between BU stakeholders, legal teams, and other matrix organizations (security, compliance, etc.).
- Coordinate appropriate Supplier reviews focused on performance, opportunity, and innovation.
- Ensure smooth operations by ensuring all negotiations are closed in a timely manner to meet specific business objectives.
- 7+ years preferred in a procurement-focused role.
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of and experience in SaaS agreements and software licensing, consultancy/professional services agreements, contract negotiations, procurement process, and industry-standard data processing addendums.
- Excellent attention to detail in drafting, methodical, organized, and process-driven.
- Excellent communication skills - written and verbal.
- Ability to deal with all levels of seniority and to facilitate coordination of cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Smartsheet's.
- Ability to manage multiple matters, under pressure, and in line with Quarter-End timescales.
- Proficient in contract database/management systems.
- Ability to work without supervision.
