Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Civil Coordinator to join our team in Southern California. As a key member of our project delivery team, you'll provide engineering support for transportation projects, working closely with public transportation clients across the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural roadway projects.
  • Take ownership of alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, and development of plans and construction estimates.
  • Assist with the creation and submission of technical reports, specifications, and calculations.
  • Support senior engineers with site studies, site designs, contract documentation preparation, and graphic presentation.
  • Perform overall site layout, grading, utility layout, and drainage.
  • Complete projects with clear objectives and limited variables.
  • Perform administrative duties associated with project management for civil/site projects.
  • Work independently on small projects or assist senior engineers on larger projects.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Commitment to being an active participant in our employee-owned culture.
  • Experience with MicroStation, InRoads, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
  • EIT certification strongly preferred or ability to obtain within 12 months.
  • Previous work experience with Cal Trans/Local Cities projects (studies and design) is preferred.

The expected compensation range for this position depends on skills, experience, education, and geographical location. (Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. Temporary and part-time roles eligible for limited benefits.) $67,000 - $87,000
