We are seeking a highly skilled Ophthalmology Specialist to join our team at Mass General Brigham. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in ophthalmology and excellent clinical skills.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality medical and surgical services to patients, as well as supervising and training residents and medical students. They will also be expected to maintain high clinical quality, productivity, and citizenship within the department.
The Ophthalmology Specialist will also be responsible for developing referral and educational relationships within Mass Eye and Ear Associates and with other practices on the regional and national levels. They will also be expected to participate in quality assurance protocols and clinical outcome studies for MEEA and Mass Eye and Ear.
The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing excellent patient care and will be able to work effectively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality medical and surgical services to patients
- Supervise and train residents and medical students
- Maintain high clinical quality, productivity, and citizenship within the department
- Develop referral and educational relationships within Mass Eye and Ear Associates and with other practices
- Participate in quality assurance protocols and clinical outcome studies
Requirements:
- MD or DO and Ophthalmology residency in an accredited training program
- Fellowship training for subspecialty care practice
- State licensure, compliance with state and federal regulatory requirements, hospital and medical school appointment requirements
