Great Day Improvements - Construction / Installation Supervisor


As a Construction Project Leader, you will serve as the technical authority for construction and product installation across our primary offerings (windows, sunrooms, doors, and siding).

Your role involves managing, training, and holding your team accountable to meet daily, weekly, and monthly production targets while ensuring the highest quality standards to maintain compliance with building codes and enhance customer satisfaction.


Your team may include:
Service/Measure Technicians, Employee and Sub-Contractor Installers. This position requires early start times and may occasionally involve Saturday work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Technical Construction Authority; Proficient in remeasuring windows, entry doors, siding, and/or sunrooms in various applications as necessary. Knowledgeable about the requirements for tempered glass to ensure adherence to company engineering standards and best construction practices.
  • Customer Engagement; Conduct job site visits and/or communicate with customers during installations or at each phase of extended projects. At the first sign of a customer concern, after personally addressing the customer, notify the Installation Manager of the issue.
  • Project Oversight; Supervise both in-house and subcontractor teams to guarantee daily revenue objectives are met. Ensure that each project is accurately measured, ordered, staged, scheduled, fully completed, and that all balances due are collected. Continuously track revenue forecasts and actuals for your product area.
  • Compliance with Company Policies and Regulations; Foster a safe working environment in line with governmental regulations and ensure completion of necessary safety training. Guarantee that employees and subcontractors meet industry productivity and quality benchmarks. Provide required training to employees and subcontractors.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-3 years of relevant skilled labor or industry experience preferred.
  • OSHA, Installation Masters training, and/or related certifications are advantageous.
  • Clean driving record and solid attendance history.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and capacity to train others.
  • In-depth knowledge of installation/service techniques for window, door, and siding projects.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and email communication.
  • Capability to adjust and reprioritize workflow on a daily basis.
  • Commitment to ensuring each job adheres to established safety policies.
