Overview
Penn State University is seeking an Event Parking Supervisor to join its team in Auxiliary and Business Services. This role plays a critical part in the university's event parking operations, supporting over 120 events annually. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for supervising event parking activities, training and managing staff, setting up and dismantling signage and equipment, coordinating with University Police on traffic management, maintaining equipment and permit inventories, enforcing event-related regulations, and assisting with administrative tasks related to event parking operations.

Salary
The salary range for this position is $42,100.00 - $61,000.00 per annum. Penn State offers a competitive compensation package that reflects the skills and experience required for this role. Job Description
In this role, you will work closely with the Event Parking Manager to ensure seamless event operations. Key responsibilities include:
  • Supervising event parking staff and ensuring efficient operations during events.
  • Maintaining accurate records of equipment and permits, and conducting regular inventory checks.
  • Collaborating with University Police to manage traffic flow and minimize disruptions.
  • Providing excellent customer service to attendees, students, and faculty members.
  • Developing and implementing strategies to enhance event parking experiences and improve operational efficiency.


Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:
  • A minimum of four years of relevant experience in event parking or a related field.
  • An Associate's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software applications quickly.
