About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Tax Associate to join our team at Forvis Mazars. As a Tax Associate, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate complex tax laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reconcile account differences and analyze financial data to ensure accuracy and compliance
  • Prepare individual, corporate, partnership, or other tax returns with precision and attention to detail
  • Calculate tax extensions and estimate payments to ensure timely compliance
  • Participate in client meetings alongside Forvis Mazars partners and managers to provide expert tax guidance
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
  • Eligibility to sit for the CPA exam in the state where your office is located
  • Solid technical accounting knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior internships in a public accounting firm performing tax work
