Position Summary
The Financial Analyst will report directly to the Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. This role is based in a hybrid work environment and is essential for preparing financial strategies, evaluating actual performance against projections, and communicating results to both internal and external stakeholders as necessary.

Key Responsibilities
1. Assist in the development of financial budgets and forecasts.
2. Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze financial data, clarify variances, and investigate discrepancies.
3. Identify risks and opportunities related to financial objectives and escalate issues as needed.
4. Maintain strong business partnerships to gain insights into market trends and strategic initiatives affecting financial forecasts.
5. Create and manage monthly reporting packages.
6. Analyze and monitor operational and financial metrics.
7. Identify, design, and implement process enhancements.
8. Conduct ad-hoc analyses to comprehend business trends.
9. Provide support for various projects and initiatives as required.

Essential Skills
- Proficient in financial modeling and analytical skills.
- Strong technical abilities; capable of understanding and constructing complex data models and financial scenarios.
- Solid understanding of P&L and Balance Sheet dynamics.
- Familiarity with databases and querying languages (preferably SQL and/or Python).
- Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, make decisions under pressure, and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines.
- Exceptional attention to detail.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA/CPA preferred, or equivalent military or practical experience.
- 2 to 5 years of progressive finance experience.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with data analytics tools and programming languages is highly desirable (e.g., PowerBI, Python, SQL).
