Michael Page International is seeking an experienced Multifamily Project Manager to join our client, a top Mid-Atlantic ENR General Contractor. This is a leadership opportunity for a skilled construction professional to oversee challenging and rewarding projects.

Our client is a family-owned and operated General Contractor with over 23 years of experience in the construction industry. They specialize in large-scale, complex multi-family and commercial new construction projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality results and building strong client relationships.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management and successful completion of major, multi-million-dollar multi-family base building projects. Key responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Fostering strong relationships with clients, owners, architects, and internal staff
  • Managing project organization, implementation, and completion to the satisfaction of the client
  • Establishing checklists for inspections and SOPs
  • Working in coordination with field personnel to implement and enforce quality control standards
  • Participating in weekly subcontractor meetings with project Superintendent
  • Overseeing subcontractor performance
  • Tracking all potential change orders
  • Leading and training project team members to support their growth and development
  • Administering work inspections to ensure quality and performance standards are being met
  • Managing project closeout

The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, and 5-10 years of experience in construction, with a proven track record of successfully overseeing large-scale multi-family base building projects. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, leadership and time management skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other project management software are also essential.
