We are seeking a skilled Physiatrist to join our team at MRG Exams, where you will play a crucial role in performing independent medical assessments for United States Veterans. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of those who have served their country.

The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing medical health records through our secure Web Portal and conducting comprehensive assessments on each veteran. Additionally, they will complete Disability Benefit Questionnaires (DBQs) through the Web Portal, documenting exam findings as required by the VA.

It is essential to note that this position does not involve making disability determinations, as the VA is responsible for this task. You will work independently, providing assessments without any therapeutic or treatment obligations.

This role requires a high level of expertise, including proficiency in finding key data points within large electronic medical records, analyzing data to complete DBQs, and forming medical opinions. Excellent typing skills and strong time management abilities are also essential for success in this position.

Average caseload per day: 4 veterans

Hybrid schedule: 3 days/week (telehealth & face-to-face)

**Requirements:**

  • Current license as a Physiatrist
  • Board Certified in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology

Salary: $**200,000 - $250,000** per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
