Key Responsibilities

This role involves conducting comprehensive medical assessments of veterans, reviewing their medical records, and completing Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs). You will work with a secure web portal to analyze medical records, conduct assessments, and submit DBQs within 24 hours of evaluation.

Work Environment and Schedule

The role offers a hybrid schedule of 3 days per week, combining in-person and telehealth sessions. As an Independent Medical Assessment Physician, you will have the opportunity to work with veterans remotely, conducting comprehensive evaluations and contributing to their healthcare journey.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • An active MD or DO license with a specialization in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R).
  • Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred; candidates with a completed two-year residency in a relevant specialty will also be considered.
  • Strong typing skills and attention to detail are essential.
Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $170,000 per year
