Job Title: Nutrition Expert for Veterans Healthcare

This role is part of the Veterans Health Administration, seeking a skilled Registered Dietitian Nutritionist to work in the Clinical Section. As a medical nutrition expert, you will conduct comprehensive assessments, develop and implement Medical Nutrition Therapy, and provide education and counseling to patients.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with complex medical and nutritional needs, and be proficient in written and spoken English. This position requires a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist credential from the Commission on Dietetic Registration, and applicants must meet basic qualification requirements outlined in the vacancy announcement.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year

In this full-performance level position, you will:
  • Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments and develop individualized plans.
  • Implement Medical Nutrition Therapy to promote optimal patient health.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients with complex medical and nutritional needs.
