About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Service Representative to join our clinical team at Dental Care Alliance. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient service and satisfaction while operating in a team-based environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet patients, sign them in, schedule future appointments, and handle incoming phone calls.
  • Respond to Patient Questions and Concerns: Respond to patient inquiries and concerns in accordance with Dental Care Alliance policies.
  • Answering Telephones: Answer incoming phone calls and respond to patient inquiries.
  • Scheduling Appointments: Schedule appointments for patients and maintain accurate records.
  • Maintaining Appointment Book: Maintain a clean and organized appointment book.
  • Confirming Appointments: Confirm appointments with patients and update records accordingly.
  • Follow up on No-Shows/Cancellations: Follow up with patients who have missed or cancelled appointments.
  • Register Patients: Register patients on sign-in sheets and maintain accurate records.
  • Post Charges and Payments: Post charges and payments to patient accounts.
  • Checking Voice-Mail: Check voice-mail on a daily basis and respond to messages accordingly.
  • Maintain a Clean and Friendly Waiting Area: Maintain a clean and friendly waiting area for patients.
Requirements
  • Experience: Experience working in a dental office is preferred.
  • Knowledge of Insurance Plans: Knowledge of insurance plans (HMO/PPO) is a plus.
  • Telephone Experience: Experience answering telephone calls is required.
  • Customer Service Skills: Must have exceptional customer service skills.
