Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PM Bakery Production Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing all bread production for wholesale and events, managing inventory and ordering responsibly to control costs, and fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and motivation among team members.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee all bread production for wholesale and events, ensuring high-quality products and efficient operations.
- Manage inventory and order responsibly to control costs and maintain optimal stock levels.
- Write weekly schedules that align with financial projections and labor goals, ensuring seamless operations and maximum productivity.
- Foster a positive work environment and continue to grow, build, and motivate the team, promoting a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Collaborate with pastry and savory chefs to create new menu items that align with the MML brand's vision and values.
- Five years of progressive experience in high-volume food production or catering, with a proven track record of success.
- At least three years of previous high-level experience in a well-established restaurant, with a strong understanding of kitchen operations and management.
- Equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience considered.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, staff, and management.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- This is an evening and overnight position, requiring flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary range of $65,000.00 - $70,000.00, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
Physical RequirementsThe physical demands of this position require the ability to stand, walk, sit, reach, climb, balance, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, with occasional lifting and moving of up to 50 pounds. The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with exposure to extreme heat, steam, and cold.
