Bakery Production Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced PM Bakery Production Manager to join our team at McGuire Moorman Lambert Hospitality. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing all bread production for wholesale and events, managing inventory and ordering responsibly to control costs, and fostering a positive work environment that encourages growth and motivation among team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient bread production processes to meet high-volume demands
- Collaborate with pastry and savory chefs to create new menu items that align with the MML brand
- Manage inventory and ordering to ensure optimal stock levels and minimize waste
- Lead and motivate a team of production staff to achieve exceptional results
- Work closely with management to develop and implement labor goals and schedules
Requirements:
- 5+ years of progressive experience in high-volume food production or catering
- At least 3 years of previous high-level experience in a well-established restaurant
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests, staff, and management
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities

Specific vision abilities this position requires include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
