Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deliver comprehensive, fully-functional solutions.
- Contribute clear and concise documentation to enhance Orange's knowledge repository, fostering better information sharing across the organization.
- Automate repetitive tasks within the development cycle.
- Promote best practices in software engineering and the software development lifecycle.
- Establish strong relationships with cross-functional teams through effective communication, curiosity, and collaboration.
- Enhance our firmware and device testing protocols.
- Refine and optimize our device manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in IoT firmware development.
- At least 5 years of software development experience with C++.
- Ability to work across various programming languages and technology stacks.
- Experience with multiple successful IoT and embedded firmware projects.
- In-depth knowledge of the IoT firmware and backend technology stack.
- Strong understanding of the IoT communication framework.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related discipline.
- Experience with automated testing methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Protocol Buffers and gRPC.
- Extensive experience in cryptography relevant to IoT devices (e.g., Ed25519, X25519, ChaCha20-poly1305).
- Proficient in designing custom OSI layer 5-7 protocols.
- Experience in managing large-scale IoT fleet operations.
- Background in developing factory tooling for mass production of devices.
- Knowledge of IoT device analytics.
- Experience in remotely managing IoT devices and handling crash scenarios.
- Background in backend development, particularly with Golang.
- Strong understanding of OSI layers one to four.
- Solid grasp of cybersecurity issues related to IoT development.
