This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the University of Utah Health team as a skilled Application Systems Analyst III. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for formulating and defining system scope and objectives, developing and modifying complex information systems, and supporting various departmental clinical applications.
Key Responsibilities- Formulate and define system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding.
- Develop and modify complex information systems.
- Support various departmental clinical applications.
- Interface between a broad spectrum of hospital systems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or Clinical Discipline, or equivalent.
- Three years of experience in programming and systems analysis, with proven prior experience in systems application process and workflow analysis.
- Experience with Epic or other electronic healthcare systems is preferred.
This is a sedentary position that may exert up to 10 pounds and may lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects. The position involves sitting most of the time and is not exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
