Occupational Health Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Health Specialist to join our team at IHC Health Services, Inc.
As an Advanced Practice Provider in our WorkMed clinic, you will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to provide high-quality care and exceptional patient experience.
Our WorkMed facilities offer walk-in services for industrial injuries that are not life-threatening. You will be responsible for:
- Providing occupational health care and ensuring an appropriate continuum of care for injured workers
- Completing employment physicals and testing, such as DOT physicals, and drug screening
- Ordering necessary tests and exams to ensure proper care
- Diagnosing patient needs and determining a plan of care
- Interpreting patient care tests and exams to guide care
You will work in a high-volume clinic seeing patients for various on-the-job injuries and work-related health concerns. This is a PRN position with the expectation of working 2 9-hour shifts per week, one at St. George WorkMed clinic and one at Hurricane WorkMed clinic.
Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm. There is potential to pick up additional shifts to provide coverage for colleagues. No weekend, call, or holiday requirements are associated with this position.
