We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Health Provider to join our team at IHC Health Services, Inc. as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This is a PRN position with the expectation of working 2 9-hour shifts per week, one at St. George WorkMed clinic and one at Hurricane WorkMed clinic.
Key Responsibilities- Provide quality care and excellent patient experience as an Advanced Practice Provider in our WorkMed clinic.
- Work with a team of healthcare professionals to ensure an appropriate continuum of care for injured workers.
- Complete employment physicals and testing, such as DOT physicals, and drug screening.
- Order necessary tests and exams to ensure proper and complete care.
- Diagnose patient needs and determine a plan of care.
- Interpret patient care tests and exams to guide care.
- Unrestricted Utah NP or PA license.
- Current Utah DEA certificate required prior to start date.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Ability to successfully complete Intermountain Health's credentialing process.
- Previous urgent care, emergency medicine, or occupational medicine experience is preferred.
