As a Facilities Maintenance Lead, you will play a crucial role in supporting operations at our facility by stepping in for our leaders and managing significant projects. This position demands agility and flexibility to meet business needs while you oversee maintenance programs and processes vital to our plant's functionality. If you are enthusiastic about keeping operations running smoothly, we want to hear from you. You will be responsible for developing and inspiring teams, serving as the primary point of contact for immediate leadership support, and engaging in various projects aimed at enhancing efficiency and effectiveness in food production. This role requires the ability to work any shift as necessary.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establishing Standards - Assist in maintaining work plans that enhance and ensure the reliability of plant equipment. Your organizational skills and strategic mindset will help us confidently progress into the future.
  • Championing Improvement - Cultivate a culture of inclusivity and continuity across all departments through ongoing enhancement initiatives. Your forward-thinking vision and effective communication will be essential in building stronger teams.
  • Leading the Team - Direct, mentor, and develop maintenance personnel for their designated areas and shifts. Your dedication to fostering success in others will lead to outstanding achievements.
  • Enhancing Efficiency - Employ problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis to address or alleviate maintenance challenges. Your attention to detail in diagnosing issues will be critical in formulating successful solutions.
  • Driving Results - Identify opportunities to reduce costs and waste by applying LEAN manufacturing principles.
  • Implementing Best Practices - Discover, apply, and document maintenance and reliability best practices. By guiding us toward effective methods, you will help us strive for excellence daily.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR SUCCESS

  • High school diploma or GED along with relevant work experience
  • Strong technical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and SAP software
  • Effective communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Proven capability to lead and motivate team members and collaborate with individuals at all organizational levels
  • Prior experience as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing setting
  • Willingness to work any shift as required by business needs
