Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer/Architect to join our team at RCM Life Sciences and IT. As a key member of our web application development team, you will be responsible for enhancing our current Salesforce platform, leveraging out-of-the-box features and custom development.

The successful candidate will have hands-on experience with Salesforce development, including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Component framework. You will work closely with our team to gather requirements, configure, and extend the Salesforce application based on business needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage development activities across an agile team, driving customer stakeholder engagements, mentoring staff, and consultants to meet job expectations.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to understand organizational goals and translate these into specific Salesforce initiatives.
  • Drive the ongoing development and refinement of our Salesforce environment, adapting to meet our evolving needs.
  • Perform hands-on technical Salesforce development and implementations, with a focus on delivering functional solutions on the platform.
  • Work with members of the team to analyze business requirements, translating those requirements into customized solutions using the Salesforce platform.
  • Configure and maintain Salesforce objects, fields, and relationships, customizing page layouts, flows, integration, automation, and validation rules.
  • Implement Salesforce solutions that adhere to platform best practices and perform peer code reviews.
  • Provide development support, from design through testing and deployment, often working with other members of the team.
  • Assist with quality testing, including creating test scripts, training artifacts, and as needed for troubleshooting.
  • Implement, deploy, and document projects that leverage the toolset.
  • Post-delivery: work with client teams in supporting the live application and perform hand-off and knowledge transfer activities, positioning our clients for long-term success.

Requirements:

  • Strong understanding of the Salesforce data model and Salesforce development standards and best practices.
  • Experience with Salesforce platform programming languages: Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Component framework, and Managed Packages.
  • Web application development including JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5.
  • Lightning Component development experience and Lightning Design System framework experience.
  • Declarative development tools such as Process Builder, Visual Workflow, Lightning App Builder, etc.
  • Ability to successfully obtain a Public Trust Security clearance, which requires US Citizenship and includes a credit check and background investigation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Platform Developer II, App Builder, Administration.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or other related field with 8+ years of related experience or a Master's degree with 6+ years of experience.
  • Salesforce Platform Developer I certification is required.
