Job Title: Senior Pastry Artisan

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Pastry Artisan to join our team at Pasta|Bar - Austin. As a Senior Pastry Artisan, you will be responsible for preparing desserts and sourdough bread for our restaurant locations. Your primary duties will include following recipes, maintaining cleanliness standards, and communicating effectively with our Pastry Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare high-quality desserts and sourdough bread for our restaurant locations.
• Follow recipes and maintain cleanliness standards in the kitchen.
• Communicate effectively with the Pastry Manager and other team members.
• Work positively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Participate in service and contribute to an unforgettable dining experience.

Requirements:

• 1-3 years of experience in a savory or bakery environment.
• Basic English reading and communication skills.
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment and maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. as needed and continuous use of hands and arms.
• Ability to be on your feet and alert for extended periods of time and continuous bending, reaching, and twisting.
• Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards.
