Job Summary

As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, utilizing MRI equipment and your knowledge of anatomy/patient positioning for optimum imaging. You will explain the procedure to the patient and address any questions or concerns they may have.

  • Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
  • Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper film identification.
  • Evaluate the quality of MRI procedures and determine if additional imaging is required, prior to communicating procedure information to radiologists.
  • Participate in on-call duties as assigned to meet department needs.
Requirements

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Radiologic Technologist with a strong background in MRI technology. The ideal candidate will have:

  • 6 months of experience as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Preferred experience as an MRI or CT technologist.

Education/Credentials:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology. ARRT registered. Virginia State license required. Preferred certification by the ARRT in MRI.
