Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist PRN to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing magnetic resonance imaging procedures, utilizing MRI equipment and your knowledge of anatomy/patient positioning for optimum imaging.

Responsibilities
  • Perform MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols.
  • Identify anatomical orientation on all required images and ensure proper film identification.
  • Evaluate quality of MRI procedure and determine if additional imaging is required, prior to communicating procedure information to radiologist.
  • Participate in on-call duties as assigned to meet department needs.
Requirements
  • Required - 6 months experience as Radiologic Technologist
  • Preferred - One year of experience as an MRI or CT technologist
  • EDUCATION / CREDENTIALS
  • Required - Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • ARRT registered
  • Required- Virginia State license required
  • Preferred - As above with certification by the ARRT in MRI
