About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate MRI Technologist to join our team at LewisGale Medical Center. As an MRI Technologist, you will perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures, utilizing MRI equipment and your knowledge of anatomy/patient positioning for optimum imaging.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing MRI examinations with proper contrast media protocols
  • Identifying anatomical orientation on all required images and ensuring proper film identification
  • Evaluating the quality of MRI procedures and determining if additional imaging is required, prior to communicating procedure information to radiologists
Requirements
  • 6 months experience as a Radiologic Technologist
  • Preferred: One year of experience as an MRI or CT technologist
Education/Credentials
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
  • Preferred: Certification by the ARRT in MRI
