Position Overview:

The Bar Back plays a vital role in the daily operations of The Shannon Rose, ensuring a seamless and efficient service experience for our guests. As the bartenders' extra set of hands, this position is responsible for maintaining stock, assisting during service, and providing go-to support for all bartenders' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including the dining room, bar, lobby, and service areas.
  • Assist bartenders in clearing the bar top, cleaning barware, restocking glassware, plateware, and replenishing and rotating wines and top-shelf liquor.
  • Ensure beer taps are working properly and change out kegs as needed to keep our beers on tap fresh.
  • Transport glass racks and cases up to 25lbs, requiring mobility throughout the shift and high endurance.

Requirements:

  • Efficiency and organization skills to multitask and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Ability to observe and adapt to changing situations.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with bartenders and other team members.
