Job Summary

Sea Mar Community Health Centers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant II to join our team in Seattle, WA. As a Dental Assistant II, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental providers in delivering high-quality services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide chair-side assistance to dental providers using four-handed dentistry technique
  • Assist patients with treatment plans, cost estimates, and sequencing of treatments
  • Obtain accurate blood pressure readings and other vital signs as directed by dental providers
  • Complete insurance pre-authorizations and verify patient eligibility and benefits
  • Assist in training new employees and dental trainees
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Completed a formal Dental Assistant program at a College, Technical Institute, or equivalent
  • Minimum of 6 months of work experience in a dental assistant position
  • Registered with the Washington State Department of Health
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification within 90 days of hire date
