Store Operations LeadershipThe Inventory Management Specialist serves as the 'Business Owner' of the inventory management process, overseeing product handling, financial oversight, and team leadership.
This role leads a team to meet inventory and operational targets while ensuring a unique customer experience aligned with Under Armour's standards.
Sales & Performance- Develop and implement a strategic plan to achieve inventory goals and key performance indicators.
- Analyze sales reports and trends to make informed decisions that drive results.
- Enhance performance through exceptional customer service, effective human resources management, and maintaining store presentation.
- Act as the on-duty leader, consistently exemplifying the brand's service standards.
- Foster customer loyalty through an engaging in-store experience utilizing data-driven insights and omni-channel solutions.
- Oversee merchandise handling, shipment processing, and inventory replenishment.
- Ensure compliance with audit standards and loss prevention measures.
- Manage staffing schedules and payroll to optimize productivity and achieve financial targets.
- Direct visual merchandising efforts, ensuring timely execution and alignment with brand standards.
- Maintain a safe and organized environment across all store areas.
- Guide the management team in utilizing performance management tools effectively.
- Communicate business strategies clearly to align the management team.
- Evaluate inventory and payroll goals, providing training and coaching to the leadership team.
- Oversee recruitment and seasonal hiring processes, ensuring a strong team dynamic.
- Encourage team engagement by recognizing and rewarding outstanding contributions.
Fluency in the local language and English is essential. Candidates should possess knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements. Proficiency in technology and strong time-management skills are required. A minimum of three years of management experience, including at least one year in a retail environment, is preferred. Flexibility in scheduling is necessary to meet business needs.
