The Opportunity: We are seeking an experienced part-time staff member to serve as our Supervising Carpenter for Theater in the high school department. This role will oversee construction requirements for school productions, work closely with students, and provide training on scene shop management. Work hours will include afterschool and some Saturdays.

About You: To be successful in this position, you should possess an MFA/BFA in Technical Theater or equivalent experience. Your expertise in organizing and managing construction, project management software (e.g., Redbooth), and maintaining a safe working environment is essential. Additionally, you should have experience working with teams and committees, facilitating the safe use of construction equipment, and reading/drafting theatrical ground plans and lighting plots.
