Position Overview

Role Summary:
Under the supervision of the Director of Human Resources, this role encompasses a variety of generalist responsibilities, including the facilitation of recruitment processes, ensuring compliance with regulations, conducting or assisting in training initiatives, addressing general employee inquiries, overseeing student employment, coordinating the onboarding of adjunct and advanced standing hires, and managing the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This position is on-site and offers a competitive starting pay rate.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee the maintenance of HR-related websites, ensuring they are up-to-date with hiring and employment information.

2. Regularly update and maintain job descriptions in collaboration with the Director of Human Resources.

3. Manage HR Information System (HRIS) records and process personnel changes efficiently.

4. Organize and facilitate new employee orientation sessions.

5. Coordinate recruitment activities, maintain search records, prepare job advertisements, and manage job postings on various platforms.

6. Handle employment verification requests.

7. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Skills:

1. Completion of two years of college coursework in business, human resource management, or a related field. Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education, or two years of progressively responsible experience in personnel administration.

2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

3. Strong analytical skills to review documents and data for accuracy and relevance.

4. Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication abilities.

5. Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to human resources.

6. Self-driven with a positive attitude.

7. Ability to exercise discretion and maintain confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
