Job Summary

The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking part-time Child Care Counselors for our School Age Child Care program. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $15.00.

Key Responsibilities

As a Child Care Counselor, you will be responsible for:

  • Supervising and engaging with a group of school-age children
  • Participating in group programs and activities
  • Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in your care
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of six months of child care experience, preferably in a licensed facility
  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum age of 18
Preferred Qualifications

The following certifications are highly desirable:

  • CPR/AED Certification appropriate to age group
  • First Aid Certification
