The YMCA of Greater Richmond is seeking part-time Child Care Counselors for our School Age Child Care program. The position offers a competitive hourly rate of $15.00.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Child Care Counselor, you will be responsible for:
- Supervising and engaging with a group of school-age children
- Participating in group programs and activities
- Ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in your care
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of six months of child care experience, preferably in a licensed facility
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18
The following certifications are highly desirable:
- CPR/AED Certification appropriate to age group
- First Aid Certification
