Front Desk Professional

The Front Desk Agent plays a vital role in delivering exceptional guest experiences at Embassy Suites by Hilton Tampa Airport Westshore. This dynamic individual is responsible for performing pre-registration and registration duties, checking guests in and out, making room reservations, and tracking room statuses and rates.
Key Responsibilities:- Welcome Guests with a Friendly Smile: Provide personalized service, offering accurate information about hotel services and local attractions to ensure a memorable stay.
- Registration and Check-in Process: Efficiently input and retrieve information from our computer system, verifying details and making room selections based on guest needs.
- Payment Processing: Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization, handle cash, and accept and record vouchers and other forms of payment.
- Communication and Problem-solving: Promptly answer the telephone, retrieve messages, and communicate content to guests, resolving problems and complaints in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Prior hospitality experience is highly valued.
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential.
- Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, using patience, tact, and diplomacy to resolve conflicts.
- Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing, is required.
- Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
