Lead Anesthesia Services at Hampton VA Medical Center

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief of Anesthesiology to lead our Anesthesia Department at the Hampton VA Medical Center. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for providing effective delivery of anesthetic care to our veterans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the Anesthesia Program, including outpatient clinical, surgical, and administrative services.
  • Provide comprehensive anesthesia services, including pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
  • Collaborate with independently functioning CRNAs and anesthesiologists to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Maintain current medical knowledge and technical skills to ensure competence in anesthesia services.
  • Document and provide leadership to ensure all anesthesiologists within the Service are competent with respect to current privileges within the Anesthesia Service.
