We are currently seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to enhance our team.
The role of the CNA involves delivering hands-on care and emotional support to residents while ensuring a safe and welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for a specific group of residents during shifts, ensuring their well-being through regular checks.
- Monitor, report, and document any changes in residents' conditions, including physical and behavioral observations.
- Respond promptly to security alerts and resident call signals.
- Alert supervisors or Health Care Coordinators regarding any increased care requirements for residents.
- Assist with continence management and maintain sanitation standards in resident suites and common areas.
- Serve and collect meal trays, assisting residents as necessary and noting any meal refusals or appetite changes.
- Ensure cleanliness in residents' rooms and workspaces.
- Adhere to hygiene and health protocols to maintain high standards of care.
- Support residents in maintaining their independence and dignity while ensuring their safety.
- Engage residents in daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Facilitate participation in life enrichment activities.
- Provide assistance to all visitors, family members, residents, vendors, and team members.
- Perform resident laundry duties as assigned.
- Complete additional tasks as directed by the Supervisor.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Certified Nurse's Aide certification.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Previous experience with senior care is preferred.
