Job Summary

Lactalis USA is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our Plant Administration team in Nampa, ID. As a key member of our HR team, you will partner with management to build people and plant capabilities that drive business results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR leadership and guidance to influence plant management on HR priorities and items.
  • Serve as a management and employee resource, partnering with managers to appraise, develop, communicate with, engage, compensate, and recognize employees.
  • Address employee issues, including performance and discipline, and conduct investigations.
  • Generate HR systems reports to understand labor costs and turnover, and take action to address any issues.
  • Interface regularly with the Corporate HR Team and plant HRMs, and as needed, Legal, Compliance, and Safety.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher preferred.
  • 8+ years of HR experience required, with 4+ years of manufacturing experience and 4+ years of management experience.
  • Experience in the food industry is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of HR systems, employment and labor law, and labor costs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with all levels of employees.
  • Ability to organize, multi-task, and prioritize, with a strong project management and analytical skillset.
