About the Role

Hospital for Special Surgery is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Nurse to join our Magnet Nursing team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care and promoting a culture of excellence in our acute care setting.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in nursing, with a focus on patient advocacy and delivering high-quality care. You will work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to maintain the highest standards of professional nursing practices and promote a supportive and team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to maintain the highest standards of professional nursing practices
  • Collect and analyze patient data to determine needs and develop individualized care plans
  • Ensure that all physician orders are carried out appropriately and timely
  • Integrate patient care standards in all clinical activities and participate in performance improvement activities
  • Maintain sensitivity and awareness of cultural and religious diversity when addressing patients, visitors, and co-workers
  • Promote a supportive and team-oriented environment
  • Support departmental responsibilities consistent with the long-range strategic plan, mission, vision, and values of the hospital
Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing required
  • 1+ years' of acute care experience
  • NYS RN license and registration required
  • BLS certification required

  • HCAHPS/EPIC knowledge preferred
  • Strong patient-centered approach with emphasis on providing exemplary and world-class customer service
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Self-motivated and proactive; a team player who knows how to think critically in a fast-paced, challenging environment

USD $62.39/Hr. - USD $72.11/Hr.
