Key Responsibilities:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for delivering customer service, technical assistance, and administrative support across various programs. Duties include:

  • Providing public information and services related to hunting, fishing, and recreational activities.
  • Accurately processing financial transactions associated with license sales.
  • Maintaining detailed records and tracking quotas for various wildlife seasons.
  • Assisting with the block management program by issuing permissions and collecting data post-hunting season.
  • Utilizing advanced Excel and O365 skills for data management and reporting.

Work Environment:
The role is primarily office-based, requiring the ability to work independently while managing interruptions. Responsibilities include:

  • Handling multiple tasks at the front office, including customer interactions.
  • Standing for extended periods during peak times and managing a variety of office equipment.
  • Dealing with challenging customer interactions professionally.

Qualifications:
Candidates should possess the following skills and abilities:

  • Strong public relations skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficiency in office practices and procedures.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and with frequent interruptions.
  • Dependability and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

Education and Experience:
The qualifications for this position are typically met through a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma and at least one year of relevant work experience. Other combinations will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
