Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse - Internal Medicine

At Emory Healthcare, we are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in the Internal Medicine department. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team.

Job Summary:

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse or licensed provider. Responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting physicians and registered nurses in the comfort, care, and treatment of patients
  • Assisting with diagnostic procedures
  • Observing and recording patients' conditions and progress
  • Conducting daily inventory of medical equipment and supplies
  • Obtaining and documenting patient vital signs and measurements
Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the state of Georgia
  • Current BLS certification
