Position Summary
The Senior Technician role demands your expertise in diagnosing drivability and electrical systems, coupled with your leadership and mentoring abilities to enhance customer satisfaction and care.Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair automotive systems to specifications, including brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and computer systems.
  • Clearly communicate technical diagnoses and necessary repairs to individuals without mechanical backgrounds.
  • Stay updated with the rapidly evolving automotive technology through ongoing paid formal training.
  • Assist fellow technicians in executing technical tasks.
  • Maintain a valid automobile driver's license and the ability to operate both customer and company vehicles.

To qualify, candidates must possess a minimum of 3 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a Vocational-Technical School program in a related field, or demonstrated skills through third-party certifications. A.S.E. certification in at least three of the A1-A8 categories is required, with new hires given up to two years to comply if they have similar external qualifications.

Additionally, candidates must maintain Federal, State, and Local certifications where applicable and demonstrate the ability to convey technical information to non-technical individuals. Proficiency in reading, writing, and math is essential.
