Program Manager for Support Services

Apicha Community Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Program Manager for Support Services to join our team. As a key member of our Support Services Department, you will be responsible for ensuring the overall compliance of programs assigned to the Queens location, including service deliverables, quality, budget, and reports.
- Assist the Associate and Assistant Director of Support Services with grants management, including creating assigned projects under the Support Services Department on revenue projection and expense budget.
- Recruit and hire program staff assigned.
- Provide clinical and administrative supervision to staff by chart review, face-to-face case discussion, and performance reviews.
- Actively participate in multidisciplinary meetings.
- Develop and execute recruitment and enrollment plans to increase the client base for Apicha.
- Support and manage staff to meet quality and quantitative requirements.
- Perform quality assurance and quality improvement activities.
- Maintain and update educational and promotional materials.
- Troubleshoot any crises with clients, medical providers, and mental health providers.
- Work closely with other programs and departments in the organization to ensure a high-quality comprehensive continuum of services.
- Submit both external and internal reports on a timely basis.
- Implement and provide Support Services-related training to staff.
- Actively participate in organizational activities (meetings, events, etc.).
- Represent the agency at various venues to promote agency services.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in a relevant field with 5 years of full-time experience in a relevant field required. May consider an advanced degree in social work, human services, mental health, or equivalent with 3 years of full-time experience.
- Two (2) years of supervisory experience to paid staff preferred.
- Experience working with target populations strongly preferred, including individuals with Serious Mental Illness, Children and Family, immigrant, developmental disabilities, serious substance use disorders (SUDs), chronic hepatitis, LGBT, high risk of or living with HIV/AIDS, and/or Asians and Pacific Islanders.
- Appreciation of and commitment to Apicha's mission and values.
- UAS-NY certification required within 3 months of hire.
- Excellent customer service skills to assist in resolving any issues.
- Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary environment and diverse staff.
- Effective and professional oral and written communication in English required.
- Familiarity with managing government-funded contracts preferred.
- Fluency in Spanish and/or Asian languages a plus.
- Ability to perform public speaking and making presentations in a professional manner representing Apicha Community Health Center.
- Ability to work effectively in both a collaborative and individual setting.
- Ability to use and adapt to various applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, eCW, eICARE, AZARA, HCS, Healthix, MAPP, PSYCKES, etc.) required.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects in a stressful environment is strongly recommended.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends.
