Job Summary:
The University of Rochester is seeking a skilled and dedicated LPN to join our Primary Care Network team as a Support Nurse. This is a full-time position available, working days, Monday – Friday, with no holidays.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administration of medication and vaccines, minor laboratory testing, and communication with patients and providers using the EMR.
- Support all offices within the Primary Care Network, serving as clinical float staff, mentors, and preceptors to LPNs and Ambulatory Techs.
- Provide orientation and training as needed, utilizing pediatric and primary care experience to deliver high-quality outpatient services for all ages.
Requirements:
- Diploma from an accredited LPN Nursing Program.
- Active New York State LPN license in good standing.
- At least 6 months in direct nursing care preferred.
Pay and Benefits:
The pay range for this position is $33.52 hourly, with incentive-based compensation applicable and to be discussed during the hiring process.
